Teaching
Martin Campos has taught at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Washington Studio School, Wayne Art Center, Winslow Art Center, Studio Incamminati, and the Fleisher Art Memorial. He has taught workshops throughout the United States, France, Spain, Italy, England, Ireland, South Africa, and New Zealand. He has been a guest lecturer at Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, CT and Salisbury University, MD. He also teaches online with courses through the ArtDigger Lab (in Spain), Kara Bullock Art School, and regularly gives his own series of online lessons.

Portraiture in Oil and Pastel
October 25, November 1, & 8
Each session is 2 hours long from 2 to 4 pm EDT.
$300 USD
In this 3 day online workshop, we will be exploring portraiture both anatomically and expressively. I will be demonstrating how to capture likeness and create interesting portraits. I will be using both in pastel and in oil but students are encouraged to use the medium of their choice.
Each session is 2 hours from 2 to 4 pm EST via Zoom. I will be recording the sessions for later reference but do encourage students to be as present as possible during class and not depend too much on the recordings. Group dynamics and a sense of community is of importance and I feel this sometimes gets lost within the virtual world.
One week prior to our first session I will invite you to join a informal meet and greet via Zoom at 2 pm EST to go over in more detail materials and concepts about the workshop that are important. This session will be recorded if you can't attend.

Figure and Composition
